The Zoute Grand Prix Week car festival returns to Knokke, West Flanders, in early October.
Last year, the event was recognized as the ‘Historic Motoring Event of The Year,’ organizers said on Wednesday.
From October 6 to 9, the seaside resort will serve as the setting for the Zoute rally. On the dyke, visitors will be able to admire unique models of vintage cars and stroll through the Prado Zoute, a 5,000 m2 exhibition hall set up on the beach.
“The 2021 edition was very special for us, as we had to take into account the health restrictions linked to the pandemic and Knokke’s request not to make it a mass event,” director Filip Bourgoo explained.
“These requirements led us to the creation of the Prado Zoute,” he explained, adding: “We are keeping the entrance fee this year, but will ensure that the event can also be experienced in the streets.”
