Belgian handbiker Maxime Hordies on Saturday became the road-race world champion in the MH1 category at the UCI Para-cycling World Championships in Baie-Comeau, Canada.
After 28.4km, Hordies finished five seconds ahead of Italian Fabrizio Cornegliani. South Africa's Nicolas Pieter du Preez took the bronze medal.
Hordies, who had already won gold in the road race in 2019, won bronze in the time trial on Thursday.
Also on Thursday, another Belgian, Tim Celen (MT2), became world champion in the time trial.
On Friday, Belgium's Ewoud Vromant won the time trial in the MC2 category, while Louis Clincke (MC4) won silver against the clock.
