Serbian EuroPride was previously cancelled but in a sudden reversal, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabi¿ announced on Saturday that EuroPride will take place after all.
The organisers of the LGBTQIA+ march and local media have confirmed and reported that the march will take place.
Earlier, Serbian authorities banned the event, citing 'security concerns', but following pressure from the international community, the Serbian government reversed its position. Prime Minister Brnabi¿ promised that EuroPride "will proceed safely."

The march is set for 17:00 this Saturday evening and takes place in Belgrade.
"We are overjoyed that the Prime Minister has kept the promise she made in 2019 to support EuroPride in Belgrade. EuroPride is a celebration of love, a movement for equality, and part of a global campaign for human rights." said Kristine Garina, President of the European Pride Organizers Association.
"It embodies European values and is not a threat to no one and certainly not Serbia," she added.
Thousands of diplomats, members of the European Parliament and other European and international leaders are expected to join the march, including Belgian Deputy Prime Minister Petra De Sutter (Green).
