The price per litre of petrol 95 (E10) will be down on Friday, Belgium's Department of Economic Affairs indicated on Thursday.
The maximum price will drop below the €1.80 mark to €1.7990 (-1.2 cents).
As a result of this drop, the ratchet will apply automatically. This means the special excise duty rate on petrol will increase on Friday by €9.9 per 1,000 litres, bringing it up to €509.2305.
Petrol 98 (E10) is thus up, at €2.01/litre (+6.9 cents).
