The weather will be “extremely mild” this Saturday afternoon in Belgium, with highs of 18°C to 24°C, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
Tonight, the minimum temperatures will range from 9 to 15 degrees. On Sunday, the maximums will still be close to 22°C with fairly sunny skies, in some areas in the country.
Cloudiness will increase in the western part of Belgium with a risk of a little rain in the coastal region later in the day.
Next week will see the warm weather cool, with an increased risk of rain and more wind, especially on Tuesday and Thursday. The highs will drop to temperatures close to 15 °C.
Channelled between a low-pressure area to the west of the British Isles and a large high-pressure area covering Central Europe and the Mediterranean basin, Belgium is immersed in a warm sector with very mild southerly currents this weekend.
