The two people were killed 100 meters from the building of the regional authorities – which was already bombed yesterday.

Six people were wounded according to local governor Yaroslav Yanukhevytch. All of the city is without electricity after a “substantial bombardment” on its “essential infrastructure.”

Kherson has come under fire regularly since the Ukrainian army managed to retake the city from the Russians a month ago. There were three civilian deaths and 13 wounded throughout the Kherson region yesterday.

Kherson was taken at the beginning of the Russian invasion and was the only regional capital Russian forces managed to capture, but large swathes of the region have been retaken by Ukrainian Armed Forces.
