The cooperative Brussels brewpub Mazette recently opened in the heart of the Marolles. It’s a friendly, bright place run by four friends with a walled beer garden at the back.
The brewroom in the cellar creates a limited range of beers including a stout made with discarded chocolate bits and an IPA called WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get).
The kitchen adds to the experience with some inspired concepts including delicious sourdough sandwiches called dikkebroodjes.
