Proximus has discontinued the online directory 1207.be after more than 20 years in service.
However, the 1207 payphone number will continue to operate, according to the telecom operator.
The online site allowed users to find the telephone numbers and addresses of individuals and companies for free, but the directory became less relevant because people tend to look for companies’ data directly on their websites, Proximus explained.
The operator has therefore decided to stop investing in the maintenance of the website.
