The iconic "The Hoxton" hotel chain — with locations in London, Amsterdam, and Paris — will soon come to Brussels, Le Soir reports. The new hotel will feature a retro theme, fitted with a trendy bar, restaurant, rooftop, and co-working space.
The hotel is set to open in the Belgian capital's central Botanique area at the former premises of the European headquarters of IT company IBM. The hotel will feature an "open-house" layout, intended to appeal to locals, as well as international tourists.
In total, the hotel will offer 198 rooms, all designed in a 70's-style. The high ceiling lobby will lead to a retro bar, and upstairs a Peruvian-inspired restaurant called Cantina Valentina will lead onto a large terrace. A small Mexican restaurant will also be set up on the rooftop, which will offer panoramic views of the city. A new co-working space, Working From, will also feature at the hotel.
Fortunately for local businesses, all of the hotel's vintage furniture will be sourced from within Belgium. In a nod to the hotel's location in the Botanique area, a particular focus will be on floral themes in its design.

The hotel is set to open its doors to guests on 1 April 2023. For more information, visit the hotel's official website.
