Belgium this weekend is experiencing high winds and heavy rainfall in large swathes of the country. In Wallonia, the pre-warning phase for flooding was extended again on Saturday, with several rivers having reached the "pre-warning" threshold, according to an update of the hydrometry portal of the Wallonia Public Services (SPW).

They join the Sûre, the Lower, Middle and Upper Semois, the Chiers, the Vierre and their tributaries, which were already under a pre-flood alert on Friday morning.
The SPW expects the levels to continue to rise until mid-afternoon on Sunday, but further alert thresholds should not be exceeded.
The rest of Wallonia is considered to be in a "normal" phase.
