The Brussels Times's weekly image compilation is back, bringing you the five images that captured the Belgian news week from 5 to 10 February.
Whether it was international solidarity, protesting farmers, architectural awards and a German-Italian leading the men's Belgian national football team, this week brought us a flurry of remarkable photographs.
A welcoming hug

This week saw the European Union announce that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would be attending their summit on Thursday in Brussels.
In the picture above, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo welcomes the war-torn country's leader to his first-ever in-person visit to the European capital.
Sending solidarity

At the beginning of the week, two earthquakes struck the countries of Turkey and Syria, which has left over 17,000 people dead, at the time of writing.
Belgium announced that they would be sending both aid and a medical team to Turkey, as seen in the picture above.
The best of Belgian architecture

This week was also a cause for celebration for Belgian architecture, with Jaspers-Eyers Architects receiving an International Property Award for the beautiful design project seen above.
How do you like them apples?

On Monday, fruit growers descended onto Brussels on tractors to demand fairer prices for their produce.
They also dumped apples in front of Comeos' offices, the trade federation they are blaming for their low profits.
Leading the light for Belgium's Red Devils

As had been previously rumoured, Domenico Tedesco was confimed as Belgium's new head coach on Wednesday.
The German-Italian, whose surname happens to be the Italian word for German, will replace former coach Roberto Martinez. He will be charged with leading the Red Devils into a new era.
