A 21-year-old motorist died in the early hours of Thursday following a traffic accident in Florenville in Wallonia’s Luxembourg province, the local prosecutor’s office announced on Thursday morning.
The motorist was travelling in the direction of the Barrière de Chassepierre when his vehicle swerved off the road and hit a tree near an exit towards Florenville. The driver was killed instantly, the magistrate announced.
The accident is reported to have occurred at around 00:30. The circumstances behind the accident are already understood by the prosecution, who did not request a road traffic expert for the scene of the crime.
