A four-year-old boy was seriously injured on Wednesday after falling from a third-floor window in a building in the municipality of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office said on Thursday.
“The police were called on Wednesday at around 08:20 for a four-year-old boy who had fallen from a window on rue Willems in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode,” Willemien Baert, a spokesperson for the Brussels public prosecutor’s office said.
“The boy was taken to hospital in critical condition and remains in this condition currently. We have opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of this accident,” the spokesperson added.
