Maintenance work will be carried out on the Worldline electronic payment IT system on the night between Sunday and Monday 6 March, Worldline announced.
During the intervention from 00:15 to 04:30, “some electronic payments may not be possible with Bancontact, Maestro, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit, Visa and Visa Debit cards in physical and online shops, as well as at petrol stations in Belgium.”
Withdrawals of money from bank ATMs are still possible, however.
