Summit between European institutions and Turkey in next few months
Tusk is clear - there is likely to be a summit between the EU and Turkey in the next few months.

A summit between the European Union institutions and Turkey is likely to be held in “the next few months.” This was indicated yesterday night (Thursday) by the European Council President, Donald Tusk.

“We have authority to arrange such a summit in the coming months, although as yet we do not have an exact date. We do, however, have the clear intention to continue talks with Turkey owing to meetings in this format.”

He stated this, adding that there is no shortage of topics to discuss with Ankara.

The migration agreement between the EU and Turkey, the fight against terrorism and the visa exemption for Turkish citizens in the Schengen zone will, in particular, feature amongst these topics.
