The European Commission is offering 900 Interrail passes to Belgians aged 18 so that they can discover Europe by train, as another season of the 'DiscoverEU' programme begins. The competition starts on Wednesday 15 March and will run until 29 March.
The European Commission set up the DiscoverEU programme in 2018 to allow 18-year-old Europeans to take advantage of the free Interrail pass and discover over 30 European countries by train. This year, 900 passes are being offered to young adventure-seeking Belgians.
The contestants must be 18 years of age, born between 1 July 2004 and 30 June 2005, and must be citizens of one of the EU countries or countries part of the Erasmus+ programme.
