Brussels central station has been evacuated following an explosion. One person has allegedly been neutralised by military personel patrolling nearby. According to a spokesperson from the fire department the explosion took place a bit before 21h00. It was of low intensity and did not cause any casualities.
Brussels famous main square, the "Grand Place", which is a few hundred metres from the central station has also been sealed off to the public.
The incident is being treated as a terrorist attempt.
