Kuwait News has introduced its newest edition to its team, an artificially intelligent news anchor. The media outlet plans for the virtual news presenter to read online bulletins. The presenter was introduced by the media outlet on Twitter.

The news anchor appears as a woman named Fidha with blonde hair wearing a white shirt. Fidha is the first artificially intelligent news anchor. The name Fidha was chosen because it refers to silver and robots are imagined to be silver and metallic.

In the video, Fidha says in Arabic, "I'm Fidha, the first presenter in Kuwait who works with artificial intelligence at Kuwait News. What kind of news do you prefer? Let's hear your opinions."
