The Sexual Violence Crisis Centres are a success

The Sexual Violence Crisis Centres (CPVS) have helped many more people than expected in just the first few months, De Morgen reported on Saturday.
Since the Centres opened in November, the CPVS at the CHU in Liège have helped 40 people, the CPVS at the University Hospital in Ghent have helped 77, and the Brussels Centre has helped 148. These figures are valid until the end of February. A quarter of the people who visit these centres are under 18.

The State Secretary for Equal Opportunities, Zuhal Demir (N-VA), says this pilot project has been a success and would like to open more centres at the beginning of next year, the paper reported.
