La Cité de la Bière, the Liège festival dedicated to microbreweries, will return to the fervent city from 4 to 6 May for its ninth edition, to be held at the Museum of Walloon Life.
It will feature 22 microbreweries, among them new producers from Liège but also brewers from the provinces of Luxembourg and Hainaut, Brussels Region and Poland.
Nearly 70 beers, exclusively from craft breweries, will be presented to enthusiasts during the festival. Alongside these tastings, it will also be possible to take part in courses in zythology, the study of beer, and to watch live brewing.
The public will be able to enjoy music with brass bands and taste typical Belgian dishes in the museum restaurant.
