NATO allies and partners have supplied Ukraine with 230 battle tanks and 1,550 armoured vehicles since the start of the Russian offensive, Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced on Thursday.
“Allies and partners of the US-led contact group have sent 230 tanks, 1,550 armoured vehicles and significant amounts of ammunition to equip nine new armoured brigades,” Stoltenberg said at a press conference with Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.
This was more than 98% of the combat vehicles promised to Ukraine since the start of Russia's invasion, he said.
