The maximum price of diesel will fall from Wednesday, the Economy Department said on Tuesday.
B7 diesel will cost €1.729 a litre, down 2.7 cents.
This is the lowest maximum price since the end of 2021, when it was less than €1.7 a litre.
The new reduction is the result of fluctuations in the quotations of petroleum products and/or their bio-components on the international markets.
