Stromae has cancelled all upcoming dates of his 'Multitude Tour', telling fans on social media that he needs more time to rest.

Stromae's latest announcement means that all of his concerts until December, as well as planned performances at various festivals this summer, will not take place.

These dates include two shows at Palais 12 in Brussels as well as various concerts in France.

The Belgian singer had previously cancelled 15 of his tour dates across Europe due to health issues.

After "coming to the realisation" that his tour was not going to go ahead as planned due to his deteriorating health, he said that he needed to "take the time to get better."

Rock Werchter festival has announced that they are currently looking at another replacement headliner, but the situation is challenging:

"No roadmap exists for this situation, no plan B or C is at hand if a headliner drops out. Our talent bookers are working hard to find the best possible replacement. Stay tuned for updates," the festival said in an announcement on Tuesday.
