After a successful first edition on the beach of Zeebrugge in June 2022, the Belgian festival Live is Live will make its return this month with a stellar line-up, second stage, combi ticket option and new location.

This year's Live is Live will take place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June in the Middenvijverpark on Antwerp's Linkeroever – a spacious oasis of calm just across the river but still close to the city centre.

Setting the tone with this unique location, the festival organisers have curated a list of memorable bands and performers, offering something for everyone. The agenda includes legendary artists from abroad, such as American rock band The War on Drugs and Grace Jones, as well as Belgium's very own notable acts, such as Balthazar and the Antwerp-based band dEUS.

The festival recently added Scottish indie band Belle and Sebastian to its line-up, as well as more Belgian talents: Sylvie Kreusch and Whispering Sons. From noon until midnight, the space will be filled with the very best of live music.

Aside from the change in location, Live is Live 2023 is introducing an additional, exciting element: a second stage named Dageraad, an ode to the singer-songwriter and also a tribute to the Dageraadplaats, the iconic square in Antwerp. Hidden among the park's greenery and in the shadow of the main stage, this is the place to enjoy an intimate set by Belgian artists Novastar and Admiral Freebee and is the perfect corner to escape to find a bit of calm before heading back to the main stage.

Finally, the festival is working together with Best Kept Secret to serve up the best food to sate festival-goers' appetites. Whether you're craving a healthy veggie-filled meal or greasy hangover cure, the array of cuisines from all across the globe will have you covered.

Ticket prices start at €80 for one festival day and are available here.
