RSCA Futsal from Anderlecht’s has clinched the Belgian futsal championship title, rounding off an unbeaten national season.
On Friday evening, the team triumphed in the final return match against FT Antwerp, scoring an impressive 8-3 victory. This followed a previous win in the first leg match with a 1-5 score.
The RSCA Futsal’s victory extends an already impressive run for the team, achieving a domestic double this season. They previously scored 3-10 against Herentals in the Belgian Cup final. Furthermore, their outstanding performance on the international stage saw them reach the Final Four in the Champions League.
RSCA Futsal is a rebranding from the previous name FP Hal-Gooik. Last year, they secured their national champion title for the sixth time, following victories in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
