The Liège Correctional Court on Wednesday sentenced a 38-year-old man from Liège to a four-year prison sentence, a quarter of it suspended, for sexual abuse and child pornography.
The defendant had involved his four-year-old daughter in child pornography scenarios and distributed nude photos of her.
The defendant, who collected 76,000 files of child pornography images between 2014 and 2022, was reported last year by an Internet user whom he had approached.
The accused had also taken naked photos of his daughter in ambiguous positions and posted them on the Internet.
However, he was nabbed above all because he proposed to include his four-year-old daughter in sexual scenarios he devised for strangers.
The defendant had also distributed nude photos of his partner.
The court sentenced him to four years’ imprisonment, a quarter of it suspended on probation, and ordered him to be placed at the disposal of the sentence enforcement court for five years.
