The weather will be sunny again on Sunday, announces the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) in its morning bulletin. The weather will be noticeably warmer with highs of 26 or 27°C in the Hautes-Fagnes to 30 or 31°C in the lowlands, and very locally even up to 32°C, in light to moderate winds.
Later in the day, fields of high and medium clouds will reach the west of the country and the sky will become temporarily cloudier during the night. A few showers will be possible, particularly over the north of the country. Minimum temperatures will be between 15 and 20°C.
On Monday, an area of light rain will cross Belgium from west to east. Cloud cover will become variable again with generally dry weather though local showers are possible. Maritime currents will bring back cooler air with temperatures no higher than 19°C in the upper Ardennes, 21°C by the sea and 22 or 23°C in most other regions.
Temperatures will be similarly mild over the following days, with chances of showers throughout the week.
