A man shot and wounded his wife on Friday, then committed suicide at their home in Oisquercq, Walloon Brabant, the office of the province’s public prosecutor said on Monday.
The victim, a resident of Rue de Samme, entered the room where her seriously ill husband was lying.
Surprised, the man shot his wife with a firearm, before turning it on himself.
This incident offurred at around 11.30 p.m. on Friday.
