A scooter rider was seriously injured in a road accident on Tuesday evening in Brussels, local police say.
The accident occurred at around 21:00 on Tuesday evening near Porte d'Anderlecht. A scooter and another vehicle collided in circumstances that have yet to be clarified.
The rider of the scooter fell and was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The Brussels police have opened an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident.
