SNCB is deploying additional trains to the coast next weekend, the rail operator announced on Thursday.
Due to forecasted summer temperatures, an increase in the number of travellers is expected. The Belgian coast could be very crowded due to the good weather. Many tourists are expected to take the train to reach the sea.
As such, the SNCB will offer additional trains in addition to its summer offer. Concretely, there will be four trains going in both directions towards Ostend and Blankenberge.
The transport operator advises travellers going to the sea to consult their route planner before travelling.

“We also recommend always carrying enough water. It is also recommended to avoid peak hours as much as possible. For those who can, it is better to leave a little earlier or a little later,” SNCB announced.
