The Brussels fire brigade was called out at around 04:00 a.m. on Monday for a fire that engulfed several vehicles on Avenue Jupiter in Forest.
“When we arrived on the scene, three vehicles were completely on fire,” Brussels fire brigade spokesman Walter Derieuw explained. “A fourth vehicle was damaged by heat radiation.”
The fire started in a vehicle belonging to the Cambio rental company, according to the fire brigade, then spread to the others. “The origin of the fire has yet to be determined,” said Derieuw.
The fire brigade responded with a fire engine and a vehicle equipped to absorb the oil on the surface of the extinguishing water.
