Due to forecasts of storms and strong wind in the city, Brussels' regional parks will be closed to the public from 14:00 this Friday Brussels Environment said via press release.
On Sunday morning, an assessment of the situation will be conducted to decide whether or not to continue the closure.
Brussels Environment recommends avoiding all regional green spaces (parks, woods and the Soignes Forest) and in particular in the vicinity of trees.
Parks will be closed to the public and reopened after inspection, cleaning and security.
In areas without locks, notices will be posted at the entrances and the guards will inform the public.
