The sky will be split between clear skies and clouds on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in a few local showers, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute's forecast.
It will be relatively cool for the summer season with highs of 15 to 19°C in the Ardennes and 19 to 21°C elsewhere, and a moderate north to north-westerly wind.
During the evening and into the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the skies will remain variable with a few local showers, particularly along the French border in the evening, and near the border with the Netherlands later in the night where there may be some thunder.
The minimum temperatures will be between 5 and 10°C in the Ardennes, between 10 and 13°C in the centre and west of the country, and between 13 and 15°C in the coastal regions.
On Wednesday, the skies will once again be very changeable, with alternating clear spells and cloudy periods giving rise to localised showers, especially over the north and east of the country where there may be thunder.
In the afternoon, the weather will become generally dry over the west and then also the centre of the country, with more spells of sunshine. Highs will be between 16 and 20°C south of the Sambre et Meuse, and between 20 and 22°C elsewhere, with a moderate westerly wind.
