Rain is to be expected on Wednesday night, beginning on the coast, gradually moving inland, and reaching the east by the end of the night, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute, IRM.
Lows will range between 11°C in Hautes-Fagnes and 16°C in the plains. The wind will blow in a southwesterly direction. It will remain moderate inland but will become quite strong along the coast.
On Thursday, the sky will remain very cloudy throughout the day, with often rainy weather in the morning. In the afternoon, showers should be limited to the southeastern half of the country, while the west and north will become increasingly dryer. Maximum temperatures will reach 15°C in Hautes-Fagnes and 18°C in the plains. The wind will be moderate to sometimes quite strong in the hinterland areas, and quite strong to strong along the coast.
On Friday morning, the skies will be very cloudy with some rain. The showers will then gradually become downpours, with the possibility of localised storms. In the evening the chance of rain should be lower, and the weather milder, with highs of 20°C to 24°C.
On Saturday, the weather will be variable, with cumulus formations resulting in widespread showers and possibly localised storms.
