On Sunday morning, the man was found dead in the car park along the Kiwiweg in the port of Zeebrugge, where he was lying under the front of his own truck. Emergency services still arrived at the scene but to no avail.

The man, who was supposed to take over from a previous driver in the car park, noticed a defect on the truck and wanted to fix it himself. While checking it, he probably got stuck between the truck and the road surface.
