Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo will visit the Libramont Agricultural Fair on Monday afternoon, the organisers of the event announced.
The Prime Minister is expected to arrive at the fairground at 15:00. This is not De Croo’s first visit to the annual event.
The Flemish liberal politician has been a long-time supporter of the Ardennes agricultural event. A lover of horses, he has frequented the event several times, both in an official and private capacity.
The organisers of the Fair said that they are delighted to host a second prestigious guest, after hosting European Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski on Saturday.
Each year, the Libramont Agricultural Fair hosts around 200,000 visitors over four days. This makes it the “largest open-air agricultural festival in Europe”, according to the organisers.
