Lori Dardikman and Tom Sas launched a new wave of cosmopolitan Israeli cooking in southern Antwerp with their hip Tel Aviv-inspired deli, restaurant and bar Boker Tov (good morning in Hebrew).
The relaxed interior is furnished with high bar stools, old-fashioned weighing scales and huge jars of pickles.
The menu offers tasty Tel Aviv street food including sourdough pita bread, hummus and copious pastrami sandwiches. You can also drop in for coffee and cheesecake any time you want.
The couple have gone on to open other establishments in Het Eilandje district, Groenplaats and, most recently, Het Zuid. And they have also found the time to write a cookbook.
