10th Summer Music Festival kicks off on Thursday
Romeo Elvis headlines the first day of the Summer Music Festival in Bossu

The 10th Summer Music Festival opens its doors on Thursday for four days of rap, hip hop and electro. The event will be held on the Saint-Antoine slag heap in Boussu, Hainaut, until August 13.

The first day will be headlined by one of the biggest names in Belgian rap in the person of Roméo Elvis. He will be preceded by Frenchman Coelho. Sinik, Twodee & Sosa Fame, Flash and Seyla will also be taking to one of the two stages at the event on Thursday.

On Friday, Niska, bianca Costa and Bramsito will be lighting up the festival, along with Yanso, Imna, Géo and Cava, among others.

Saturday will be a more international affair, with Norwegian hardstyle duo DaTweekaz, Le twins from Latin America, as well as Curby from the UK and Chuckie from Suriname.

Finally, Marseille rapper SHC will have the tough task of closing the final day of festivities. He will be able to count on Koba Lad, Dau, Kofy and DJ Ghost to warm up the crowd beforehand.

Tickets were still available on Wednesday for each day of the festival, at the price of €32.5. Four-day passes, priced at €62.5, were also still on sale.
