A 16-year-old teenager was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted by four men on Wednesday night in Brussels. Local media have reported that it may be related to a settling of scores following a robbery.
The young man was abducted on the night of Wednesday to Thursday last week on Boulevard Lemmonier in the centre of Brussels, Het Nieuwsblad reported. Witnesses said they saw four men dragging him by force into a car.
Two hours later, at around 04:00, the victim was found near Westland Shopping in Anderlecht on the Brussels Ring Road. The young man was reportedly left there naked and had burns from cigarette butts all over his body. His nose was also broken, possibly from a punch to the face. He was taken to hospital but his life is not in danger.
The Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office said it would not comment on the alleged incidents, but Het Nieuwsblad stated that this was possibly a settling of scores by an Albanian gang in the capital.
The victim, also of Albanian origin, allegedly assaulted a sex worker. Her pimp, accompanied by henchmen, took revenge. The location of the perpetrators is currently unknown.
