An illegal rave party took place in Ghent on Sunday, according to Het Laatste Nieuws, which reported that about 100 persons took part.
The last revellers left the scene without incident, the newspaper reported.
The maritime police confirmed the information after travelling to the scene.
The party took place near the ArcelorMittal steelworks in Ghent's port area, to which access is forbidden.
As a result, police issued tickets to some of the revellers.
