Carrefour is recalling focaccia on Saturday, in agreement with the food safety agency Afsca, due to the possible presence of listeria monocytegenes.

The product concerned is “Duo Focaccia basil & tomatoes” (2x165g) from Carrefour’s “The Market brand”, with a use-by date of 7 October 2023.

People in possession of the product, sold in the gourmet section of certain Carrefour shops in Belgium, are advised not to consume it and to destroy it or return it to the point of sale where it will be refunded.
