Special police units have been dispatched to a hotel in Wevelgem, West Flanders, in response to a hostage situation there on Friday afternoon.
According to the West Flanders Public Prosecutor’s Office, a man has been holding his girlfriend against her will at knife-point in the Happy Day Hotel.
