A Belgian-Luxembourg edition of the business magazine Forbes will be launched in early 2024, according to a press release published on Monday by Ventures Media.
This newcomer to the media landscape will be available in digital format and as a quarterly magazine.
Joan Condijts, former editor-in-chief of L'Echo and co-founder of LN24, will be the magazine's editorial director. "Forbes has always focused on the careers of exceptional men and women to illustrate how business works, highlighting their successes without masking the failures that often led to them. It is a way of seeing the world that I share and that I intend to highlight in the journalism that will be developed by Forbes Belux," Condijts emphasised.
The magazine is due to publish its first edition in March. The digital platform will be available "at the dawn of 2024" and will include a targeted weekly newsletter, an active presence on social networks and the distribution of interactive multimedia content.
The Belgian group Ventures Media, which is already responsible for distributing the Belgian editions of Elle and Marie Claire magazines, among others, will publish the Belgian-Luxembourg version of the famous magazine. It will be published in Dutch and French.
Founded in 1917 in New York, Forbes is a benchmark in the business media and publishes high-profile rankings every year, including the most influential people in the world. The magazine is available in some 50 franchises around the world.
