The entire country has been put on yellow wind alert from 9pm Saturday until 8pm Sunday, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
The wind will “significantly” intensify during Saturday night into Sunday, with gusts generally ranging from 65 to 75 km/h, notes the RMI.
The wind may even blow up to 80 km/h during a heavy downpour, which warrants the issuing of a yellow alert across the nation.
Sunday will remain windy, with gusts potentially reaching or exceeding 70 km/h.
