A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal collision that occurred in Diepenbeek early Saturday morning.
The victim, a 20-year-old woman, was crossing Nieuwstraat around 12:45 AM when she was hit by a car. She tragically lost her life at the scene of the accident in the Limburg region of Belgium.
The driver initially left the scene, but later presented himself to the local police on Saturday morning.
A forensic laboratory team and an automobile expert were dispatched to the scene. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
