The World Championships for jazz, ballet, and contemporary dance will take place at De Panne's Proximus Theatre on the Belgian coast from Monday 27 November to Sunday 3 December.

Attracting over 3,700 dancers from 33 countries, the event is supported by Plopsa leisure parks, which will provide facilities for the participants and organisers, according to a statement released on Friday.

The week-long competition is organised by the International Dance Organisation and is open to the public.

The first three days of the competition will be dedicated to jazz dance. Ballet will then take to the stage on Thursday, followed by contemporary from Friday to Sunday.

The World Dance Championships tickets can be purchased on the event's website.
