110 years is also the perfect occasion to host an event – or rather, events! Something the Wiltcher’s has certainly been doing these last twelve months. The Brussels palace will be shining even brighter during this period of magical decorations and festive gatherings until the end of January!

A season of festive gatherings on the theme of... Sparkling Snow
More than ever before, the festivities will be the major attraction at the Steigenberger Icon Wiltcher’s. Here, the decorations will transform the reception and restaurants into a magical, sparkling setting where guests can treat themselves to an aperitif and finger food, bartender cocktails, special brunches, and indulgent snacks including local specialities like the famous waffles or hot chocolate, plus special kids’ events that will keep children (and adults) coming back for more.

The Loui Bar is the place to be for legendary cocktails from the in-house mixologists. A menu of Champagne, spirits and, of course, cocktails, from the most vintage to the most contemporary, creative and unique. Don’t miss the Cocktail of the Month, the ‘winter special’ hot cocktail!
The piano bar is open every Friday and Saturday evening, with live piano music by Amaëlle, playing a jazzy lounge repertoire.

Decorations worthy of the most beautiful of Christmas stories
This year, it is the hotel interior that has been transformed to create the setting for the festivities. The alpine chalet has taken up residence in the warm and cosy Library. Everyone will find something to their taste here: on a wintery afternoon, nice and warm in this comfortable and cosy setting, foodies are treated to a generous Tea Time with a variety of pastries, waffles, finger food, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot chocolate, and other sweet treats that are always very popular in the middle of winter. And of course, from 6pm, it’s time for an aperitif: the menu includes caviar, champagne, finger food and more! When it comes to drinks, it’s hard to resist the signature cocktails conjured up by the Loui Bar mixologists or, thanks to the hotel’s partner, the famous BOLLINGER Champagne, or even the coffees and teas (afternoon tea is a must!) served in the finest tradition of a grand alpine hotel in… Brussels!
The festive decorations continue through the long corridor from the reception to the Loui Bar and Café Wiltcher’s. This year’s theme – ‘Sparkling Snow’ – really comes into its own here as it’s adapted to these different settings. The areas have been transformed into a winter wonderland reminiscent of the most beautiful of ski resorts. Sparkling snow guaranteed! And above all, it offers another way to make dreams come true, taking both young and old on an unforgettable journey!
Culinary delights for every occasion
No festive season would be complete without a gala dinner on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The New Year’s Eve dinner on 31 December will feature an extensive festive menu of gourmet dishes designed by Kevin Lejeune, the Michelin-starred chef at our neighbouring restaurant La Canne en Ville. This extensive New Year’s Eve Menu will be priced at €185/person (6 courses with complimentary Champagne) including evening entertainment and will be followed by a dance evening hosted by DJs and live musicians.
Other occasions for your diary are the Christmas Dinner on 24 December (evening) and the Christmas Brunch on 25 December. And for the little ones, the Saint Nicolas Party on 10 December.
