The fifteenth edition of the Love Bugs Parade, a rally showcasing iconic Volkswagen models, is taking place Sunday afternoon.

Volkswagen’s Beetles and Combis were lined up Sunday morning outside Autoworld, the car museum at the Cinquantenaire in Brussels.

In total, about 300 vehicles from these storied models, both old and new, were on display, bringing fans to the park for a closer look.

The cars are from Belgium, but also as far as France, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.

This gathering of Beetle fans takes place every year around Valentine’s Day. Its name, “Love Bugs Parade” is a nod to “Herbie, the Love Bug”, a 1982 television series where the Beetle car is the star.

At around 2 pm the cars went for a rally in Brussels and Brabant, and return to Cinquantenaire in the afternoon. All participants are invited to a reunion tea party, complete with jazz music.
