The American company, Hasbro, announced in a statement on Wednesday that it has launched a poll to decide which cities of the world should be included in the new global “Here & Now” edition of Monopoly. Brussels is one of the 80 sites shortlisted. The choice of new properties to appear on the board of the famous game will take place on www.votemonopoly.com. Internet users have until March 4th to vote for the shortlisted cities they would like to see on the game’s next board, which will be marketed worldwide by the end of 2015.
Between March 3rd and 9th, every city in the world, from the largest to the smallest, can try its luck in getting one of the two remaining entries on the new Monopoly board.
The results will be announced on March 19th.
