The woman - who is understood not to have been wearing a proper mask - attacked a cashier, threw flower pots and damaged a park car before storming out of the store, according to reports. Staff quickly took the opportunity to close the door when she came back in, which prompted the woman to ram the doors with a trolley while they waited for the police.

Upon the arrival of the police, the woman attempted to bite one of the officers, said Willem Migom of the Antwerp police. In total, four members of staff were slightly injured, and the store had to close to clean up the chaos left in her wake.
